My particular scheduled follows 19 hours of Intermittent Fasting followed by 5 hours to consume my meals. Now, the concept of Anabolic Burst Cycling is quite simple. One day I restrict my caloric intake to protein-rich eggs and meat coupled with ample water intake and coffee. On the alternate day, I get to relish in a series of hearty meals over a 5-hour span. These meals will have some degree of complex carbs while maintaining a high degree of protein and fats. I believe this approach helps shock our bodies into believing it's consuming a good quantity of food which increases fat burning metabolism to optimal levels.

Another great benefit of ABC is that it allows us to eat all the foods we love without feeling guilty or deprived. During our 5-hour burst cycling phase, when can, within reason, indulge in our favorite meals guilt-free! However, it's important to remember that moderation is key and stay away from junk food and processed snacks.

Besides the potential fat loss there are some key health benefits of this lifestyle. on key health benefit is improved insulin sensitivity. When we consume large amounts of carbohydrates regularly, our body becomes resistant to insulin which leads to weight gain and other health problems such as type 2 diabetes. By restricting carbohydrates on the restricted calorie day and consuming them in moderation during the feasting phase, we can improve our insulin sensitivity which will lead to better health outcomes.

Another health related benefit of ABC is increased muscle growth due to the anabolic response that occurs after consuming a high amount of calories on the feasting days. The body responds to this increase in calories by increasing muscle protein synthesis which leads to increased muscle growth over time.

What I really like about this particular Intermittent Fasting lifestyle is its sustainability.
